CELINE was founded in 1945. Celine Vipiana opened a children's shoe specialty store in Paris with her husband, and her name became the store's name as she was in charge of design. Later, the brand expanded into women's shoes, perfumes, scarves, and bags, and finally launched ready-to-wear in 67. With a wide range of items that harmonize simplicity, classic, and mode, it advocates total coordination. Numerous iconic bags and apparel were born under the design of Phoebe Philo, who served as designer for ten years from 2008, solidifying its status. Since the spring/summer of 2019, Edie Slimane has been appointed as creative director following Phoebe, making it a top brand that cannot be overlooked in future collections.
