Founded in 1988, Maison Martin Margiela started its journey. The brand's founder, Martin Margiela, is a graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and is a legendary designer known as one of the Antwerp Six, who created a new wave in fashion. In 2014, John Galliano was appointed as the creative director and held the 2015 Spring/Summer haute couture collection in London. This led to the rebranding of the name to "Maison Margiela."
