Chrome Hearts is a luxury brand founded in 1988 by Richard Stark in Los Angeles, USA. Known for its silver accessories featuring motifs such as crosses, florals, taggers, flares, and horseshoes (necklaces, bracelets, and rings), it originally started as a biker brand, so leather items (wallets, bags) are also very popular, and all items are handmade in Hollywood, USA. In 1992, it won the Accessories Designer of the Year award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), which is said to be one of the most prestigious awards in the American fashion industry. In recent years, its apparel line, including T-shirts, hoodies, and caps, has also gained popularity, with some collectors gathering various designs.
The first store in Japan to carry Chrome Hearts was Comme des Garçons in Aoyama, but it is currently operated by United Arrows. It is also famous for not having sales or outlets, which is said to help maintain the brand's value.
Recently, the brand has continued to evolve by inviting young talented designer MATTY BOY, blending tradition with new influences.
It is a major brand in the accessories world, boasting many fans worldwide, including celebrities and artists such as EXILE, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, Justin Bieber, Drake, and Rihanna.
